4. Pluck enough hair and separate more layers. When I'm plucking my wigs I pluck enough so that it looks natural. And the more layers that you separate, the more natural it's going to look.

5. Do not plug too much on wig head. I like to pluck just enough on the wig head and then pluck a little bit more just to give it like the more natural feel while on my head. After I have installed the wig with the lace glue and everything, I do also pluck while the wig is installed on my head, and that kind of gives me a better outlook on how the wig is going to come out.

6. Pluck your wigs after the hair is bleached. After the hair is bleached, it's kind of more easy to pull out, so it just glides right out and you don't have to be like plucking very very hard.

Use bleaching powder, three scoops should be enough. You can use 40 volume developer or 30 if you are a beginner. Mix your deleloper with bleaching power and make sure you get it thick enough to the point where the bleach just sits on the knots.

And when you're putting the bleach on your lace, make sure you don't be heavy-handed. Just to cover all of the knots, so that the knots can fade away and turn blondish. It will have the illusion that the hair is coming out your scalp once you are laying your wig.

Put the left strand under the middle strand, and then take the right hair strand and put it under the middle strand. You go that way to do a regular box braid.

4. We're gonna do almost the same thing when we are doing the cornrow. The only difference is any strand we have, you're gonna have to add some hair at the bottom, and we'll keep doing it until there is no hair.

5. Now let's start the cornrow. We're gonna make sure that fingers stay close to the scalp. Now let's go, cross the left strand under the middle strand, and then put the right hair strand under the middle strand. Again cross the left strand under the middle strand, and then take the right hair strand and put it under the middle strand, after two times of normal box braid, now to do the cornrow you're gonna start adding hair.

6. Add hair. Then pick up a horizontal section of hair on the same side and add it to the middle strand. Then cross the left strand over and into the middle and hold all the strands in your right hand. Here you add hair, and you keep braiding, and you add hair on the same side as you go down. And you make sure you detangle the hair when you braid a cornrow. This is how you do a regular cornrow. And once you get used to it, you automatically gonna add hair when you do it.

You have to keep practicing on braid cornrows, and you'll naturally pick the hair proportional to all of the rows without even paying attention to that. The hair you pick will be the same amount every time you add hair until you reach at the bottom and the cornrow will come out neat.

How To Braid Hair in 3 Strand

1. Brush your hair.
The first step is to brush the hair through, so there is no tangles.

5. Loosen up your braids.
If you want the braid to look a bit fuller and bigger, then lightly pull in the sides of the hair to fan it out.

How To Braid Hair in 4 Strand

1. Split your hair into four equal sections.

How to make a lace closure wig step by step

1. Place the mesh cap right on to the styrofoam head
Make sure your wig cap is nicely, secure and place it correctly. Use pins to pin it down to make sure the cap doesn't move or shift while you are sewing in closure and bundles.

2. Taking the closure and pinning it down on the mesh cap
Make your lace closure about an inch in front of your wig cap. Take your T-pins and pinning down the closure, stretching out the closure as much as possible to make it flat. You can use a little water to lay down the hair to make sure the closure is nice and smooth and flat as possible.

3. Hand sew in the closure with a curved needle and some thread
Using a curved needle and some thread, go about an arm's length of thread and then cut it to make a knot.

Then go through the edge of the lace with your needle, picking up a little mesh before you pull it through. Do not sewing through the cap, sewing through the mesh or it won’t fit. Then you can just repeat sewing the edge of the lace closure, pick up some mesh and make a knot.

You can wrap your thread around the needle three times to make close stitches when sewing down your closure because you'll cut the cap under it when you're done and you don't want it to be flappy and gappy. Then you just finish off the closure.

4. Drawing Lines on the wig cap for weft
You can use sharpie metallic marker, start from the bottom and make sure you mark your wig cap correctly and each line is about an inch apart.

5. Sew In Hair Weft
Start sewing the first bundle, go straight with the lines on the mesh cap, begin from a little above the end of the cap and pinning it down. Double wefting and when it going to the end and then flipping it over until you are done with the full bundle.

When sewing near the thick elastic band of wig cap, you want to sew only through the mesh of the cap right on top, not through the elastic band, otherwise the wig will not fit because the cap will be too tight and you'll have to start all over this whole process. So pick up some of that mesh on top of the band not through.

As you get closer to the end before you flip it, make your stitches closer just so that when you do flip it, it's nice and secure.

When you finish off your hair bundles sewn in, then cut off the extra weft and cut off your thread as well, and you are done.

6. Cut off the excess cloth underneath the closure
Took off your wig off the dome head, cutting off the excess cloth underneath the closure, cut right next to the stitching of your closure, so that your are cutting off most of the cloth as much as possible without cutting off the thread.
